    Strategic Alliance between Expo Zaragoza 2008 and Cirque du Soleil



    Expo Zaragoza 2008 outlines a two-fold requirement: that of integrating new artistic proposals into the programme of events, and the desire to develop an attractive, solid project for its European promotion.


    Corporactiva, Cirque du Soleil's collaborator in Spain, put forward a project made up of two complementary elements. Firstly, agreement was reached for Expo Zaragoza 2008 to sponsor Cirque du Soleil's 2006-2007 European Tour to be combined with a public-relations campaign directed and coordinated by Corporactiva focusing on the cities taken in by the tour: Brussels, Madrid, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, London and Paris. Secondly, Corporactiva's creative team is working with their counterparts from Cirque du Soleil on an artistic concept and the subsequent production of a daily parade at Expo Zaragoza 2008.
