    Expo Zaragoza 2008 VIP event at Brussels Art and History Museum

    Approach:

    Within Expo Zaragoza 2008’s international promotion activities, the client needs to develop a public event in Brussels with the goal of promoting Expo’s attributes and content to politicians and workers of European institutions. The event had to deal with the theme “water and sustainable development” in its most imaginative and creative interpretations, giving priority to the artistic, esthetical and musical aspects. In this sense, Corporactiva’s experience in the artistic direction of events is what made Expo Zaragoza confide again in Corporactiva for the creation of this artistic and technical project in front of a crowd of 700.

    Proposal:

    Corporactiva creates the concept and directs this artistic and musical high-level event related to the theme “water”, giving a special emphasis on Expo’s capacity of transmitting emotive and attractive messages. This was expressed in different ways such as music, performances and aerial dance. Corporactiva uses the Original Soundtrack created especially for the Caravana of the Expo as a base, and adapts an acrobatic show which is held inside an inflatable 11m high structure that resembles a drop of water. Four musicians playing live with a percussion show and a spectacular lighting complete this unique representation of mythology and the origin of water. The event had a great impact on the spectators.
