    Cirque Du Soleil Parade in Expo Zaragoza 2008

    Expo Zaragoza 2008 outlines the necessity of integrating new artistic proposals into the programme of events.

    Proposal:

    Corporactiva suggests to Expo Zaragoza 2008 Cirque Du Soleil’s participation in the creation of a daily parade which would take place during the days of the exposition. Corporactiva’s creative team works together with their counterparts from Cirque Du Soleil in the artistic conception of a daily parade for Expo Zaragoza 2008. The awakening of the snake is the name of the parade that has been performed daily around the facilities of Expo Zaragoza 2008, under the artistic direction of Cirque Du Soleil. The artistic conception, done with Corporactiva, has developed the legend of the Awakening of the snake, using the symbolism of the waters, that when combined bring life, in a daily one-hour unique show. Expo Zaragoza took place from June 14th to September 14th 2008, having received more that 5.6 million visitors.
